How to get Google to find your website faster with Google Search Console
When you have launched a new website, published a new page, or made significant changes to your content, you will naturally want Google to discover it as soon as possible. One of the simplest and most effective ways to get Google to index your content faster is to use Google Search Console.
In this guide, we will show you step by step how to use the tool to submit a URL manually and thereby increase your chances of being found in search.
1. Log in to Google Search Console
First, you need to log in to Google Search Console.

If you haven't added your website yet, you need to do that first. It requires you to verify ownership, for example, by adding a DNS record or a small piece of code in the website's -tag.
2. Use the "Inspect URL" feature
At the top of the menu, you will find a field that says:
"Inspect addresses in [your domain name]"
Paste the address of the page you want Google to index (the first time you have published your website, this can simply be your main page).

3. Request indexing
If the page is not indexed, or you have just made important changes, you can click the button:
"Request indexing"

Google will then queue the page for review. This does not guarantee immediate indexing, but it significantly increases the chance. Often, this happens within hours or a couple of days.
Bonus tips for better indexing
To maximize the effect, you should ensure that the following are in place:
The page has unique and relevant content
You have linked to the page from other subpages on the website
It is not blocked by robots.txt or has a
You have submitted the website's **sitemap** to Search Console
You share the link in channels that drive traffic and attention (social media, newsletters, etc.)
Summary
Google Search Console gives you a powerful yet simple tool to "notify" Google about new or updated content. By using the "Inspect URL" function and requesting indexing, you can reduce the wait time from weeks or months – to hours.
